Hsiao-Yu Chen
Hsiao-Yu Chen is a Ph.D candidate at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering and started to work in AUVSL in Aug 2021. He holds a physics B.Sc. and Photonics Technology M.Sc. degree and 6-year working experience in the industry. He focuses on outdoor environmental obstacle detection and terrain classification for ground vehicles. The learning-based algorithms adapt to the self-designed sensor module, including RGB stereo camera, Near Infrared camera, and LiDAR.
